Full disclosure…I love hats. I don’t know where this love started. Maybe it was a childhood spent with Diane Keaton as my spirit animal. So imagine my joy at finding a new, really rad hat line called Clyde.
There is something about a good looking hat that calls to mind a road trip through a dusty landscape with your love in a beat up car. Or not…maybe that’s just me.
Hats are a key piece to what I call the Lazy Girls Guide to Style. Style doesn’t have to be you all duded in whatever the latest fashion is, style can be as simple as jeans and a tee – that is if you have a stellar hat to elevate the look.
Dani Griffiths started the accessory line Clyde a few years back in between her gig as sales director for Assembly New York house collection and modeling (naturally). While I thought Clyde was a reference to Bonnie and Clyde it’s actually a nod to her Welsh roots.
I am particularly obsessed with her Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Wide-brim wool dome fedoras are a particular weakness of mine.
Clyde is a line for hat enthusiasts and even if you can’t rock a hat it makes you wish you could pull one off. RAD indeed.
